35 5-ingredient Recipes You Can Make in an AirBnb

5-ingredient recipes

If you haven’t read any of my Hotel Cooking 101 posts, I am a HUGE fan of cooking while traveling. Don’t get me wrong, I love eating out and trying foods in new places, but even just one meal in (for me, it’s always breakfast) can save you a lot of money. AirBnbs are easiest since you’ll get a kitchen, but I’ve also included recipes you can make using a stove or hot plate (like you’ll find in a Residence Inn-type place) or using a grill, which can sometimes we found near an outdoor pool.

If you’re interested in traveling your own cooking appliance, I LOVE the Cuisinart Oven Central or George Foreman Grill.

What you need for all recipes: oil/ghee, salt & pepper.

  2. I am salivating looking at the amazing pictures. All of them look yum! Nice post about cooking but when i am travelling i am just so zoned out from kitchen that i am too lazy to cook again. I hope someday i’ll find enough inspiration to cook something.

  3. I’m totally on the same page with you on cooking while traveling. You save so much money that way! Along with having go to recipes you can make with minimal kitchen tools/ingredients, it’s also fun to try to recreate some of the local cuisine. I love the variety of recipes you included for all different types of people!

  4. I love quick easy recipies on the go. I love that you included whole 30 recipes too. It’s always so hard to eat healthy when traveling. These are great recipes 🙂

  5. Oh this is great! I am a huge fan of AirBnbs and I, too, love cooking during my stay. You have some great and easy recipes to whip up when you’re limited on resources – will definitely refer back to this post often!

  6. This is such an awesome list! I’m already checking out some of these recipes to make at home! I love cooking anything low maintenance 🙂

  7. Such a great idea for a recipe post! With family trips at a rental property, food is one of those things that takes the most amount of organizing. Who is cooking what which day? Literally, I just planned our meals out yesterday.

  8. This is very useful 🙂 I will be using Airbnb next month so all I have to do now is just to print your interessting post 🙂 Thanks 😀 You saved my diners 🙂

    best,
    Kasia

  9. Although I love to try new food and new places, it’s true that when traveling it can be tiring to always eat outside. Airbnb or also some hotel rooms with a kitchen corner are a good solution for that!
